Animal Abuse (Rescuing)

Going to interview with Lesette Ortiz at her home, she helps every homeless animals that she sees. She has adopted 3 cats that were injured and 2 dogs that very ill. She said, "I have helped some animals since 1998 because it's just sad watching them be so alone, with no home, no one too care for them, and plus they could get killed by cars, starve, or attacked by other animals." Lesette Ortiz decided to work in a animal shelter in 1999 because she wanted to help and save animals.
Emily Ortiz (Lesettes daughter) says that animals should be cared for and loved, her brother thinks "what is the point of animals if we're cleaning and doing everything for them".
Though since his pet past away at age 6 because of sickness, so he thinks that animals are pointless, but these animals keep families together and keeps them happy. Some of these animals are used to make others feel entertained.
Looking up more about animals that have been abused, an article about a six-year old pit bull named Dolley who was blind, cracked skull, lit on fire, and her ear was almost hanging off. Robert, a volunteer from a animal rescue organization in New York wrote this article.
Dolley was rescued in 2009 before the article was written, and Robert has token care of Dolley since then. This is a problem because more animals are dying from starvation, sickness, or injured and won't be able to survive long. We can change this if everyone starts helping animals that have been abused or injured, and people should care because if they can care for their pet why not care for one that as no home or injured instead of just leaving it their where it can die, you never know if it could be a puppy or older.
Another problem that happens to animals is people who hoard them. And depending on which kind of animals people hoard some of the animals could hurt each other, and they could possibly die because people that hoard them will keep them but won't care for them or to properly feed them. And these are all reasons why we should help animals in need so people and other animals won't hurt them or hoard them.
